One of the unique skill of Blanka is the ability to do crossover hop by Forward 3 Kicks. This is a very valuable move to confuse the opponent. In this post, I will explain my method to perform Blanka’s Crossover Electricity (Electric Thunder) using keyboard. Electricity requires 5 Punch inputs with the last determining the strength of the Electricity. I use LP, MP, LP, MP, HP. The trick is to input the first LP, MP during the hop animation. When Blanka reaches the otherside, we are left with 3 more Punch inputs. And by holding Down, the next LP will perform Crouching Light Punch. Hence we are just left with the last 2 Punches MP, HP for the electricity.
My motion
1) F + 3K (Performs hop. Keep holding Down for the rest of the directional inputs.)
1) D + LP
2) D + MP
3) D + LP (Performs Crouching Light Punch when Blanka reaches the other side)
4) D + MP
5) D + HP (Performs HP Electricity)
